Two players, a Lead and the Skip - shall each play
four (4) bowls, the Lead playing first and then the Skip
as defined in the World Bowls Laws.

Matches shall be of eighteen (18) ends (save where
there is any permissible variation in terms of the WBB
Laws) and all teams will play one another as per the draw
(save as where specifically provided otherwise).

In each game two (2) points shall be awarded for
a win and one (1) point for a tie. The team with the highest
number of points shall be declared the winner of their
Section of the Pairs Competition.

Where points are equal, then the Country with the
greater Shot difference (Shots FOR minus Shots AGAINST)
will be the higher placed Country.
If equality still exists, the result of the game
already played between the two shall decide the higher
placed Country.
If equality still exists then the Country scoring
the most shots in all matches played in that competition
will be the higher placed.
