FOR TRADE EXHIBITION STANDS VENUE – Northfield Bowling Complex |
1. Staging
and Removal of Trade and Exhibition Stands:
Access to the
Northfield site will be from MONDAY 19th July 2004 at 10.00 hours
onwards. Construction of all stands and exhibitions must be completed by
MIDNIGHT on WEDNESDAY 21st
July, 2004, unless agreed with the Event Manager.
Under
no circumstances may any stand be dismantled before the official closing hour
of 6.30 p.m. on SATURDAY 7th AUGUST 2004 , and any trader/exhibitor
who is not prepared to meet this requirement may be refused admission to any
subsequent events.
2. Event
passes:
Representatives
admission passes will be sent out with confirmation of trade space bookings.
3. Stand Location:
A
site plan is enclosed in this pack which itemises:

Main site access
points for vehicular traffic.
·
Location of the
event office.
A
detailed plan of the trade/exhibition area will be enclosed with confirmation
of your booking which will shows the exact location of your stand site.
4. Vehicle
Parking and Movements:
Access
to the site for vehicles, and parking within the site during the event period
is not allowed. Exhibitors are asked to
remove their vehicles from the event arena as soon as possible on completion of
unloading of materials, and park them in a designated car park.
5. Event opening hours:
The
World Bowling Championships has the following opening times during which trade
and exhibition stands must be staffed:
Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm /
Weekends and Finals 9am – 7pm
6. Re-stocking of stands:
Re-stocking
of stands can take place, outwith the opening times of the show and vehicles
will be permitted in the event are for this. However, all vehicles must be
removed within 1 hour.
7. Sub-Letting of Stand Space:
No
exhibitor will be permitted to sub-let the whole or part of the space
allocated, and the Event Manager reserves the right to refuse admission to
anyone other than the original applicant.
8. Goods
Offered for Sale:
Exhibitors
will only be permitted to sell such goods as are described on the application
form.
9. Restriction of Stand Design:
No
exhibitor shall be permitted to arrange a stand or to place a sign in such a
manner as to obstruct the light, or inconvenience or disadvantageously affect
the display of any other exhibitor.
Signs must not project beyond the space allocated. The Stewards will be the sole judges of any
infringements of this rule and will be authorised to remove immediately the
offending sign, or to have the stand re-arranged, all at the expense of the
exhibitor.
10. Restriction on distribution of Leaflets
etc.:
No
exhibitor will be allowed to distribute pamphlets, leaflets or circulars
advertising their goods or services except to persons calling at their
stand. The selling of goods by auction
or shouting or conduct of such a nature which may annoy visitors or other
exhibitors is not allowed.
11. Security
24
hour security is available but applicants are advised to provide lockable storage and to remove items of value or
money overnight.
12. Health & Safety
The
SBA expect all traders/exhibitors to take all necessary steps to ensure the
health and safety of their employees, members of the public, other traders and
exhibitors and event staff, while present on the site.
World
Bowls 2004 or the SBA reserve the right to halt immediately any activity, or
remove any item, which they consider to be a health and safety risk. Traders/exhibitors will be expected to
comply fully with any health and safety instructions or announcements made
during their stay at the event.
13. Damage and Indemnities:
World
Bowls 2004 or the SBA will not be responsible for any accidents that may result
from equipment of any kind belonging to any exhibitor. It is a condition of entry that each
exhibitor will accept full responsibility for their equipment and any accident
caused thereby or thereto howsoever arising.
The trader/exhibitor will indemnify the SBA against any legal
proceedings arising from any accident caused by their actions or equipment.
Exhibitors
should insure against fire, theft, accidents and other appropriate risks not
only as regards their own property, but also against any third party claims.
