To decide the final overall standings of the Championships the
24 competing Countries will have all their points won in the four
events added together to find their total number of points won during
the Championships. The Country with the most points will win the
Leonard Trophy as stated above. The other 23 Countries will be placed
in order of highest number of points. The top sixteen Countries
in the overall standings will qualify for the next World Championships
in 2008.
In determining the overall standings the following will apply.
1.
Country with the highest number of points won will
be the winner.
2.
In the event of a tie on points with two or more
Countries then the difference of shots for and shots against
in all four Competitions will be used to decide the Country
which takes the higher position.
3.
In the event of two or more Countries still being
tied, the Country scoring the highest aggregate number
of shots from the four Competitions will decide the Country
which takes the higher position.
4.
In the event of two or more Countries still being
tied, the Country having the lowest aggregate number of
shots scored against them from the four Competitions will
decide the Country which takes the higher positions.
